If you’re considering OSHA 30 online training, it can be a convenient option, especially if you’re a supervisor or worker with some safety responsibility. The 30-hour Outreach course provides more in-depth coverage of workplace hazards than the OSHA 10-hour course.



Before enrolling, I’d recommend checking that the provider is currently authorized by OSHA for online Outreach Training and that you choose the correct industry course, such as Construction or General Industry. OSHA maintains a current list of authorized online providers, so that’s a good place to verify a provider before signing up.



Also, keep in mind that an OSHA 30 course completion card is not an OSHA certification or license. Your employer may also have additional training requirements for specific job hazards.
