The Samsung Galaxy A31 receives the same kind of reviews as numerous other mid-range phones; overall it's considered to be a decent acquisition for those looking to spend more on the display and battery life than on performance itself. It is equipped with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ resolution Super AMOLED display, and those lucky enough to have tried it were amazed by the color tones, highly satisfying viewing angles and deep contrast. Partly that's one reason it was the top seller at launch, over the lower price models of Galaxy. There is also an under display fingerprint sensor that is sufficient for everyday use.The other significant upside is a huge 5,000mAh battery. It can be used for one day for most users and sometimes more, but will take time to charge as the 15W charging speed is not very fast. The main shooter is 48MP, the ultrawide camera is 8MP, the macro camera is 5MP, the depth sensor has 5MP and the selfie camera has 20MP. Photos in the daylight are fine and detailed, but reviewers mentioned that the camera doesn't perform well in low-light conditions. The macro and depth cameras aren't a necessity, but a nice extra. It's only performance that's problematic. The phone is powered by MediaTek Helio P65 processor which is good enough for VoIP, social media and video streaming but isn't that good for gaming. It was bundled with Android 10 and One UI 2.0 that renders it somewhat obsolete now.In the world of today's shopping, one word applies to this Samsung Galaxy A31 review – backup! The newer Galaxy phones have better screens with brighter displays, faster chips, and better software updates for a similar price.
